A Few Words About Me
I am a Business Analyst with a strong background in backend software engineering, currently contributing to digital transformation projects in the public sector at Uni Systems. My role bridges business needs and technical implementation, involving requirements analysis, functional documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable solutions for complex information systems, such as the Hellenic Cadastre.
Within the RDI & Business Development unit of Uni Systems, I applied business analysis practices in the context of smart city platforms and EU-funded innovation projects. I contributed to the design of pilot applications, analyzed functional requirements and urban data flows, and documented integration scenarios to support interoperability and service delivery.
Previously, at Farm-B — a spin-off company of CERTH — I developed and maintained core backend systems that supported automation and scalability in agri-tech applications. My responsibilities extended beyond technical development to client-focused design, ensuring that user needs were reflected in the system architecture.
My early career at the Institute for Bio-economy and Agri-technology (iBO/CERTH) involved building IoT systems for precision agriculture and environmental monitoring. I developed autonomous meteo stations, built LPWAN mesh networks, and contributed to full-stack platforms that supported research and sustainability.
I hold a BA & MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and an MSc in Software Engineering, where I focused on bridging mobile app development with RESTful backend services. This educational foundation fuels my ongoing commitment to building useful, reliable, and human-centered digital systems.
I thrive in environments that blend innovation with structure, and I take pride in translating complex challenges into practical outcomes. Whether writing specifications, designing workflows, or collaborating with public institutions, I aim to create solutions that serve real users with clarity and purpose.
Outside of work, I enjoy CrossFit for the discipline and mental clarity it brings. I also value personal development, reading, and continuous learning — essential drivers for both personal growth and professional excellence.
I am deeply interested in personal growth and self-improvement — whether through daily routines, introspection, or studying psychology and mindset. I believe that long-term professional success is built on a foundation of self-awareness, discipline, and the continuous pursuit of clarity and purpose.
Additionally, I am passionate about personal finance, blockchain technology, and the evolving world of decentralized systems. I regularly explore crypto markets, tokenomics, and the broader economic implications of Web3. I see blockchain not only as a financial innovation but also as a catalyst for new models of trust, ownership, and digital collaboration.
